Meet our Founders.

I grew up in the Hickory area and attended Hickory High School. At my time at HHS, I was very successful as a student athlete and helped my basketball team to win two state championships. After graduation, I attended UNC-Charlotte where I was part of a conference championship team. After graduating from UNCC, I was able to return to HHS school as a teacher and as a teaching assistant. I also helped coach while serving in these roles. Being able to return to my alma mater really gave me the desire to work within the community to help provide more opportunities and provide more support for area at-risk youth. 

I grew up in Claremont NC and attended Bunker Hill High School. While attending Bunker Hill, I starred on the football field as an All Regional member and District Player of the Year. After high school, I completed 2 yrs at Pitt and Catawba Valley Community College. I began working in the school system and coaching basketball in 2005 at East Burke Middle School. Since then I've returned to my alma mater to coach basketball and football. I currently work at Maiden High School as a teacher assistant/behavior specialist. My experiences in the community have given me a greater passion to impact the students within the surrounding area by encouraging and fostering their classroom and sports’ performances.
